Celebrations at Maddens Lane are like no other. We offer beautiful, intimate spaces to our cottage guests to gather and make wonderful memories. Maddens Lane is a place to come together with your nearest pals and dearest family, and lean into a slow, immersive day from start to finish. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, a betrothal, vow renewal or memorial, Maddens Lane offers an inclusive, nature-filled experience never to be forgotten.

What do you need to know?

  • Guests staying at our cottages can enjoy full and exclusive use of our grounds, chapel and styling for two nights (min stay) for photography, ceremony and celebration. Your day is yours to design in any way that you wish! Use of all chapel facilities and props including timber arbour, bar space, outdoor wood-fired pizza oven, tables & chairs, lighting, crockery & glassware, linen and bluetooth speaker.

    We do not offer an event planning service, or ceremony & photography packages, but can recommend many amazing local businesses that can help you design your beautiful day.

  • We are not a traditional large wedding venue, so the emphasis is on nearest & dearest! We limit the number of guests in attendance to 8 adults and 3 children under 10 years old. All guests in attendance must be registered as staying at the cottages. The cottages sleep 8 adults for weddings (bedding for queen sofa bed and rollaways/ portacots for children) is provided).

  • The cottages are situated in our beautiful back paddock, alongside our Little Tin Chapel, in a wonderfully sheltered, picturesque setting.
