Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets at either The Station Master’s Cottage or Applegarth Cottage. There are kennels and a cattery just around the corner (Top Dog/ Top Cat) if you’re in need of a holiday home for your pet! Apologies but there can be no exceptions to this policy.

Only Applegarth Cottage has a hot tub (pls note children are not permitted in the hot tub if renting both cottages together).

The Station Master’s Cottage welcomes guests of all ages, and we love hosting families!

Applegarth Cottage is designed for two adults only.

Location Photography

Set on 30 acres of farmland in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula, Maddens Lane Cottages offers a wonderfully diverse collection of locations for your next photoshoot, campaign and/ or film. Rates for commercial photography are separate from our Airbnb rates, and vary depending on the nature of the shoot. All commercial photography must be booked in advance, please contact us directly for details.

Wedding Photography

All commercial photography incurs an additional charge, please contact us directly if you would like to invite a photographer to capture your celebration at our property.

We love love here at Maddens Lane! If you’re looking for a beautifully rustic and tucked away spot for your elopement, vow renewal or commitment ceremony, we’d love to host you!

Our Elopement Escape package at Maddens Lane includes two nights at our two beautiful farm stay cottages (*accommodation for up to 8 adult guests and 3 children under 10), use of our gorgeous Tiny Tin Chapel for either the ceremony or a long table dinner, extensive picturesque grounds and cottages for photography, and full access for professional services such as hairdressers, makeup artists, florists & caterers on site. Wedding arbour, decorative glassware, crockery, lighting and additional tables and seating can be arranged on request.

*Please note we do not cater for larger weddings, these packages are purely for our cottage guests, and we cannot accommodate additional guests except for professional services (celebrant, photographer, caterer hair & makeup etc).
